Do you know what coverages on your MA Auto Insurance policy will transfer to the rental car?
Well good news for you the liability coverage, comprehensive, and collision on most MA Auto Insurance policy will all cover the rental car. So if you do cause an accident the damage you cause not only to the rental car but also to what ever you hit will be covered by your MA Auto Insurance Company.

- Does your MA Auto policy show any discounts for alarms or airbags/ seat belts? In MA you can receive discounts for these on your MA Auto policy.

Spring is approaching and I’m sure we are all looking forward to the warmer weather and seeing the sun for more then just a few minutes each week. But for now it is still winter and the winter weather is, unfortunately, lingering around. Here are some tips for winter driving to hopefully keep you safe from having to use your MA comprehensive or collision coverage.
- check road conditions before leaving.
- start early so you don’t have to hurry
- watch for black ice on the roads, if it looks slick it usually is
- remove snow from your roof, hood, bumpers, and lights before starting out.
- don’t follow other cars too closely; keeping further back from them then normal.
